  1. Clear findings

We show you the failed part or the reading that points to it, and explain what it means for the rest of the system.

  2. Choices, not pressure

Repair, replace or wait and watch: you get the trade-offs of each and make the call yourself.

  3. Care for your home

Shoe covers, drop cloths and a clean work area when we leave, whether the job was in the attic, garage or hall closet.

About us

A Danville shop that explains before it fixes

Summers in the San Ramon Valley run hot, and winter nights get cold enough that a failed furnace is more than an inconvenience. EliteFlow HVAC Repair Service works on the equipment that keeps local homes comfortable through both: central air conditioners, gas furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits and the ductwork that ties them together. Our approach is simple. A technician diagnoses the actual fault with real measurements, tells you what is wrong in plain language, and lays out repair and replacement choices side by side. If a repair makes sense, we say so. If a system is near the end, we explain why and talk through what comes next, including heat pumps, which many owners are weighing as Bay Area Air District rules tighten for new gas furnaces from 2029. Working equipment never has to be replaced because of those rules, and we will not suggest otherwise.

FAQ

Common questions

What kinds of systems do you work on?

Central air conditioners, gas furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, wall and floor heaters, thermostats and ductwork. We also handle indoor air quality add-ons such as upgraded filtration.

My AC runs but the house stays warm. What should I check first?

Look at the air filter and make sure the outdoor unit is running and not buried in leaves or debris. If both look fine, turn the system off to protect the compressor and call us for a diagnosis.

Should I repair or replace my furnace?

It depends on the condition of the heat exchanger, the cost of the repair relative to the unit's remaining life, and how comfortable the home has been. We explain each factor so you can decide.

Do Air District rules mean I have to switch to a heat pump?

No. The rules apply only when a furnace or water heater fails or is replaced. Gas furnaces manufactured from 2029 must meet a zero-NOx standard, which is why many people start comparing heat pumps ahead of that date.

Is the federal heat pump tax credit still available?

The federal 25C credit applied to qualifying heat pumps placed in service before December 31, 2025. It does not cover new installations now, though BayREN and local clean energy providers may have current incentives.

How often should my system be serviced?

Once a year for each mode is a good rule: cooling in spring before the heat, heating in fall before the first cold nights. Heat pumps that do both benefit from a check twice a year.

Do you clean ducts?

Yes. We inspect ducts first, clean them when dust or debris justifies it, and seal or repair leaky sections we find along the way.
